I'm Jordan Bender, the designer behind BenderWorks!
Right after earning my B.S. in Industrial/Product Design from SFSU, I worked as a design engineer for an off-road accessories company. There, I was able to see firsthand how a full-scale product gets made, from management to Engineering to In-House Manufacturing to R&D to Marketing to Shipping. I got to see my designs get turned into real stuff, not just a render! Eventually, in 2023, I felt a need to stretch my legs and give entrepreneurship a shot so I created my solo design studio: BenderWorks.
With my education in design, practical experience in engineering and LOTS of lessons learned through my entrepreneurial journey so far, I find that my toolbox of skills is quite diverse, but ever-growing. I still enjoy learning new skills and taking on new experiences whenever I can, which is why I enjoy the novelty of designing for many different clients in many different arenas.
Typically, I work in OnShape for CAD (Modeling, Engineering Drawings, Assemblies, Weldments, .dxfs, etc.) and Blender for rendering. I pride myself in flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and have experience in many other programs, so if you have a software preference, I might be able to match it!
